Year End Awards
2010 was an amazing year for the athletes at Central Virginia Endurance. The winners of the 2010 CVE Awards are:
Performance of the Year – Jodi Cash for qualifying for her second Team USA slot of the year at Halfmax National Championships while running the last 8 miles on a broken foot…a true Black Dragon.
Most Improved – Jaime Janus for coming out of the silence and making lots of noise winning the Xterra East Region AG Championship for the season and qualifying for Xterra Worlds in Maui!
Jeff Tunstall – Team Spirit- Jeff Tunstall for his undying desire to help his fellow athletes and the community while smashing one PR after the next. One of Jeff’s many highlights was his 1 hour+ PR at Ironman Lake Placid….didnt hear about it…thats because Jeff was too busy helping out his teammates!
Most Valuable Athlete – Michelle Harburg. With everything from a top 12 performance at Ironman St. George (including all the pro’s) to her top 8 Performance at Halfmax National Championships, the elite season of Michelle was an amazing run for this “still new to the sport” athlete. 2011 is going to be amazing for Michelle and the rest of the CVE Squad.
